YouTube is introducing a new feature that allows users to completely hide YouTube Shorts from their feed. According to a report by The Verge, a new “zero minutes” option has been added to the “Time Management” settings within the mobile app.
By selecting this option, the short-form video format is removed from the user interface, providing a more focused browsing experience. Key details include:
- Platform: Available exclusively on the YouTube app.
- Availability: Currently rolling out gradually for Android and iOS users.
- How to find it: Located under the “Time Management” section in settings.
This update offers more control for viewers who prefer long-form content over the Shorts algorithm.
