Ryan Dahl, creator of Node.js, has launched Dactyl, a new AI-powered programming platform designed to simplify native iOS and Android app development. The platform eliminates common friction points in mobile development by running a device emulator directly in the browser, removing the need to own a Mac with Xcode or install Android Studio.
Dactyl offers a free trial for developers to test the platform. The Builder plan costs $20 per month and includes the ability to use your own ChatGPT subscription to consume tokens, keeping costs flexible for those already subscribed to OpenAI's service.
