Google is rolling out a new feature that gives websites a way to earn more prominent visibility in search results. Site administrators can now add a button allowing users to mark their page as a preferred source, which increases how often it appears in search results for that user.
Users have two ways to manage their source preferences. They can click the button on a site to add it to their preferred sources, or they can manually curate their list directly through Google's Preferenced Sources page. This shift puts more control in users' hands while giving quality sites a direct channel to build loyal audiences.
