Technical Improvements
The performance boost stems from a shift in how the engine stores and processes filter lists. Brave transitioned from standard Rust structures (such as vectors and maps) to FlatBuffers. This new format is more compact and enables faster data access, resulting in a lighter footprint on system resources.

Users can benefit from these memory savings starting with Brave version 1.85. This update ensures a faster, smoother browsing experience without compromising the browser's core privacy features.
