Chinese scientists have conducted simulations to explore how to block Starlink signals across Taiwan. Using real network data, they modeled a satellite mesh the size of the island for 12 hours. Their findings indicate that it would require hundreds or thousands of electronic noise jammers, deployed via drones, balloons, or airplanes, spaced 5 to 10 kilometers apart to create an electromagnetic shield preventing internet signals.
According to Tom's Hardware, this comprehensive approach highlights the complexities involved in disrupting satellite communications and the substantial resources needed for such an operation.
