Apple has officially removed Anything, a popular 'vibe coding' application, from the App Store. The decision follows a reported violation of Apple's strict developer guidelines regarding executable code.
The Reason for Removal
According to reports from 9to5Mac, Apple cited guidelines that prohibit apps from downloading or executing external code that changes their primary functionality without undergoing the standard App Store review process.
Developer Counter-Proposal
In an attempt to stay on the platform, the developer suggested a workaround: displaying user-created programs within a web browser instead of executing them natively within the app. However, Apple rejected this proposal and proceeded with the removal.
