Despite these takedown efforts, the developer community is finding ways around legal barriers:

- Record-Breaking Growth: The spinoff repository ultraworkers/claw-code gained over 100,000 stars in just a few days, becoming the fastest-growing repository in GitHub history.
While Anthropic continues its cleanup attempt, the rapid distribution and recreation of the leaked code highlight the difficulties companies face in securing proprietary AI software once it enters the public domain.
