Raspberry Pi Posts Record Revenue as 2025 RAM Stockpiling Pays Off

Raspberry Pi reported record first-half 2026 revenue of $256.9 million, a 90% jump year-over-year, after stockpiling RAM in 2025 ahead of anticipated shortages and price spikes. The company sold 4.2 million units, up 17% compared to the same period last year.

The RAM inventory acquired in 2025 has now been exhausted, but Raspberry Pi is already planning to build fresh stock before 2027, aiming to enter the new year with substantial memory reserves on hand. This strategy reflects the company's lessons from previous supply chain volatility and positions it to weather potential future disruptions in the semiconductor market.
