OpenAI is developing its first hardware device — an intelligent speaker capable of moving around your home. According to TechCrunch, the device has been presented internally as a home companion that learns proactively about its owner over time.
The speaker would have access to users' digital lives, including their emails, enabling it to provide more personalized and contextual assistance. However, OpenAI has not yet announced a launch timeline for the device.
