OpenAI has released ChatGPT Work, a new offering powered by GPT-5.6 that connects directly to your workplace tools. The model pulls information from Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, SharePoint, email, calendars, and CRMs—giving it visibility into the platforms your team already uses daily.
Beyond data retrieval, ChatGPT Work creates spreadsheets, presentations, documents, and web applications. This moves the tool beyond conversation into active productivity, letting it build assets your organization needs without manual handoff to other software.
The service is available on Pro, Enterprise, and Edu plans. Separately, OpenAI is discontinuing its Atlas browser; its features will be folded into the ChatGPT extension for Chrome, consolidating the company's browser capabilities into a single, more integrated experience.
