OpenAI has rolled out several major updates to its ChatGPT offerings, anchored by the new Pro 500 plan priced at 2,500 Brazilian reais per month. This tier provides the highest usage limits and includes Ultrafast mode, which enables Codex and Work to generate up to 300 tokens per second—a significant boost for users handling heavy computational tasks.
The company is also introducing Dots, an autonomous AI assistant with a bubble-shaped avatar that operates in the background with minimal oversight. Dots is available exclusively to Pro and Business Premium subscribers, offering hands-free task automation and monitoring.
Two new models expand OpenAI's capability range. GPT-6.1 Sol delivers nearly identical performance to GPT-6 Astra while cutting costs by 20%, making it accessible to Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu tier users via Codex and Work. Meanwhile, Space functions as an Office-like suite, consolidating shared documents created through Pages—a Word-equivalent text editor—with Slides, a PowerPoint alternative launching in the coming weeks. Space is available to Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers.
