- Instant: Designed for quick interactions and immediate responses.
- Thinking: Focused on deep reasoning and complex problem-solving.
- Pro: High-performance mode for demanding technical tasks.
Performance and Benchmarks
The GPT-5.2 update significantly accelerates workflows like code review, spreadsheet creation, and long-document analysis. In recent benchmarks, the model outperformed Google’s Gemini 3 Pro in engineering and logic:

Availability
