LinkedIn leads by a wide margin when it comes to AI-generated posts across social networks. A recent analysis found that 41% of posts exceeding 250 words on LinkedIn were written with AI assistance, compared to 24.1% on X and just 13% on Reddit. Reddit emerged as the social network with the most human-generated content by proportion.
The prevalence of AI content on LinkedIn has prompted the platform to take action. LinkedIn acknowledges the problem of increasingly "empty" publications filling users' feeds and says it plans to reduce the reach of such low-value content. The move signals an effort to maintain post quality and user engagement as AI writing tools become more accessible and widely adopted.
