Google is rolling out a new feature that allows users to hide sponsored results from search pages. Here's what's changing:
What's New
Sponsored results will now be grouped into a single collapsible section at the top of the search page. This section includes:
- A larger, fixed label that stays visible as you scroll
- A button at the bottom to hide sponsored content
- Note: You'll need to scroll past ads before hiding them
Availability
The update is being gradually distributed to both desktop and mobile users.
This change gives users more control over their search experience, though sponsored results remain prominently displayed by default.
