GitHub has announced Agent HQ, a new platform designed to let developers test various AI programming agents. This includes GitHub's own Copilot alongside systems from leading companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI.
Key features include running multiple AI models in parallel on the same task, allowing users to compare outputs and select the best one. This aims to streamline coding workflows by offering flexibility in choosing the most suitable AI assistance.
While there's no official launch date, subscribers to Copilot Pro Plus participating in the VS Code Insiders program will get early access to OpenAI's Codex.
