Google has launched Gemini CLI Extensions, a new feature that allows developers and users to integrate third-party tools directly into their AI workflow through the command line.

How It Works
Each extension includes an automatic "manual" that instantly teaches the language model how to use the integrated tool—no complex configuration needed.
