CME Data Center Overheating Causes 11-Hour Shutdown
CME Group, the world's largest derivatives exchange, experienced a significant operational disruption last Friday due to overheating in its data center.
The interruption, lasting over 11 hours, marked one of the longest outages recorded by the company. Restoration efforts involved a partial reboot of cooling systems and the deployment of temporary cooling solutions. Services are now completely restored.
