Apple has unveiled a completely overhauled version of Siri, its virtual assistant, bringing significant upgrades to how it understands and responds to user requests. The new Siri AI is described as far more conversational than before, capable of understanding information embedded in messages, emails, and photos.
The updated assistant can answer questions about content displayed on screen or captured through a device's camera, and it retrieves current information from the web in real time. This marks a substantial step forward in making Siri feel more natural and contextually aware compared to previous iterations.
The beta rollout begins with Apple's latest operating systems: iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, and tvOS. Initially, the assistant will be available in English, with Portuguese language support launching in October. Users can start testing the new capabilities now through the beta releases.
