Apple is reportedly planning to re-enter the corporate server market, more than a decade after discontinuing its Xserve line in 2011. The original Xserve provided organizations with native file sharing, website hosting, and network administration capabilities.
The new server product will target AI solutions and is expected to use two or four M8 Ultra chips, processors that have not yet been publicly announced. According to reporting from The Verge, the product is unlikely to launch before 2029.
