Nvidia has acquired key assets and licensed technology from AI chip startup Groq in a deal valued at approximately $20 billion. This marks Nvidia’s largest acquisition to date.
The move aims to integrate Groq’s low-latency processors into Nvidia’s AI factory architecture. While Groq will continue as an independent entity under CFO Simon Edwards, CEO Jonathan Ross and President Sunny Madra will join Nvidia. News of the acquisition comes via CNBC.
